The KOBOLD AUF Series compact local electronic display is a universal display unit that can be used in all loop-powered 4–20 mA transmission circuits. Placed directly between an existing EN 175301-803 Form A (old DIN 43650) (Standard Hirschmann®-style) plug and socket assembly, this electronic display is the easiest of displays to install. In addition, it is fully scalable through two control buttons. Programming capabilities include scaling, decimal point location, damping and, for units with a switch, setpoint value. It receives its power via the 4–20 mA loop, requiring no additional power supply. All programming information resides inside the unit’s EEPROM memory, making it immune to power failures for up to 10 years. Small and easily installed, the KOBOLD AUF is the ideal way to get more from your transmitter.
