PSD – Digital Pressure Sensor with Switches and Analog Outputs

Economical Sensor for Liquids or Gas: Two Switches and a Scalable Output

The economical and compact PSD offers the ideal combination of two pressure switches and a scalable transmitter output with a rotatable display. It is designed to monitor the pressure of compatible liquids, air, and other gases that are neither combustible nor aggressive. It offers a stainless steel housing with a protection class of IP 65. Common applications include: machine tools, hydraulics, process technology, and industrial applications. OEM pricing is available for certain quantities.

Switchable Analog Output

The PSD offers an analog output that is switchable to either 4-20 mA or 0-10 VDC. The switching output offers 2 PNP transistors. The pressure range is adjustable from 50 to 100 percent of the nominal range. Integral hysteresis, window, and delay functionality are included. All parameters can be set directly on the device via the 3-key programming and it can be programmed without pressurization.

Specifications

The PSD is available in ranges from 0 to 30 PSI to 0 to 7,500 PSI. The pressure units are user selectable and are offered in PSI, bar, MPa, kPa, mWC, and mmWC. The media and ambient temperature ranges are -13 °F to 185 °F. It offers an accuracy of ± 0.5% at 77 °F. It comes with a 1/4” NPT fitting. Both the display housing and the electrical connection are rotatable.
