KOBOLD NCS magnetic float level switches for liquids feature all stainless steel construction for both the stem and float, making them ideal for use in highly corrosive or high temperature applications. Available in small and large sizes, the metal NCS uses a hermetically sealed reed contact actuated by a magnet in the float. As the float rises and falls, the magnetic field causes the SPST switch inside the stem to open or close. These float level switches can be mounted in the tank top or bottom, and are also available in a bent-stem version for side mounting. Switches will operate normally with up to a 30 degree tilt from vertical. All single-point switches are field selectable for normally open (N\/O) or normally closed (N\/C) switch operation by simply removing the retaining ring and flipping the float over.<\/p>\n
